Clothing Swap+Shop for Charity

Spring typically marks an upswing in the real estate market, but it also can also inspire us to do some Spring cleaning! Whether you’re purging to get ready for a move, or just trying to clean house as the weather gets nicer, your closets are no exception. Most of us (myself included) are guilty of hanging onto things we no longer need or wear for far too long and if this is you too, then you’re in luck! This month, my friend Stacey and I are hosting our first ever clothing swap, and all proceeds are going to womenmind for CAMH: a community of philanthropists, thought leaders and scientists dedicated to tackling gender disparities in science to put the unique needs and experiences of women at the forefront of mental health research.
How it works:
Register through the SAOR Studio app ($25 base donation to attend gets you 5 shopping tickets - the more you donate, the more shopping tickets you’ll receive!)
If you have clothes to donate to the swap, drop off in a bag (labled with your full name) to SAOR Studio no later than Wednesday, May 8th - each item of clothing donated gets you one additional shopping ticket. There will also be some amazing raffle draws for items donated by local female-owned businesses, so the more tickets you have, the more chances you have to win!
